Classic Southern Sweet Tea

- In a medium pot, bring 8 cups water to a boil
- Add tea bags and remove from heat. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Once dissolved, mix with 4 cups cold water.
- Serve over ice and enjoy, garnishing with fresh lemon wedges if desired.
