Apple Butter Grilled Cheese
Our Apple Butter Grilled Cheese is the perfect fall lunch! We made this delectable dish with our Apple Butter, but you can make it your own with the sweet autumn flavors of our Sweet Potato Butter, Pumpkin Butter, or Fig Preserves! It’s a match made in harvest heaven!

- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly on one side of each sourdough slice. Flip both slices over.
- On the opposite side, spread a generous layer of apple butter.
- On one of the apple butter-covered slices, layer your cheeses evenly.
- Place the second slice of bread on top to form the sandwich, with the apple butter side facing the cheese.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add a pat of butter.
- Once the butter is melted, carefully place your sandwich in the pan.
- Cook, flipping occasionally, until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Remove from heat, slice, and enjoy!
