the loveless cafe
Since 1951
our story
Our story begins in 1951, when Lon and Annie Loveless opened the front doors of their home to serve homemade fried chicken and biscuits to hungry travelers along Highway 100. Today, the Loveless Cafe is a Nashville landmark, welcoming more than half a million visitors each year with a hot plate of Annie’s original biscuits and made-from-scratch Southern goodness.
We’re honored to have been featured in national publications and media outlets, including Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Food & Wine, the TODAY Show, Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil, MTV’s Jersey Shore, and A&E’s Legends of the Fork. The Loveless Cafe is happy to accommodate both traditional and nontraditional media on property, and we’re glad to facilitate interviews with key members of our team. For all media inquiries, please contact Isabella Roy or Macey Binner.
Menu Favorites
Word of Lon and Annie Loveless’ fried chicken and biscuits spread all throughout the South. To accommodate the increase of travelers, the Loveless family opened up the Loveless Motel and added several Southern staples to their menu, including country ham, 22-hour Tennessee Hickory smoked BBQ, and scratch-made-sides. All we can say is that if you’re comin’, you better come hungry!
